For the last eighty years, film has been the major vehicle for the transmission of myth. Supplanting religion, theater, literature, and art. By the end of this decade we may see a shift towards a more interactive environment. Whichever process can most accurately depict the dream state will be the vehicle of choice for cultures collective dreams. However for the interim future, film shall remain king of the dream machine.
